Before talking about his lunch, let talk about MasterK's first ever low vision support group meeting. This meeting also take place on 2nd Friday each month, school was closed today so Mom was able to drive him to this meeting. WHen we got there, there was only one other old couple in the meeting. We learned the person who regularly run this meeting is in a conference and someone else run the meeting today. Apprently others knew about it and didn't show up. We same a demo on a electronics handheld magnifier and JAWS screen reader. It was 12:30PM by the time the meeting was over.
We decided to take MasterK to the Dum Sum place for his birthday lunch. When we were there the restaurant was closed for renovation, the other buffet restaurant was also our of business, so we didn't eat anything, so disappointed. It was 2:30PM by the time we finished grocery at the Asian supermarket. So we just bought a roasted duck home for lunch. MasterK was so hungry, he had to eat a bun on the way home.
